Built for people who write every week
Sintra Studio is for newsletter writers and bloggers who publish regularly and want readers to be able to listen: on a commute, at the gym, or because listening is simply easier for them than reading. Whether you publish on Substack, Beehiiv, Ghost, WordPress or your own site, you end up with a standard MP3 file.
It reads what you wrote. It doesn’t write posts for you, and it isn’t meant for turning other people’s articles into audio.
How it works
- 1. Paste your post. Paste the text or upload it as a PDF, DOCX or TXT file. Cut what only works on a page, like image captions, “click here” links and tables. Here’s how to write for the ear.
- 2. Pick a voice and generate. Listen through. If a name comes out wrong, respell it and regenerate just that line; lines you haven’t changed cost nothing.
- 3. Download the MP3. Add it to your post if your platform accepts audio, or upload it to a podcast host to publish it as an episode.
Sintra Studio doesn’t import posts from a URL or RSS feed and doesn’t publish for you. You paste the text in and upload the finished file yourself, so you review every line before your readers hear it.
What you get
- An audio edition of each post. Give readers a listen option without booking a studio or recording yourself.
- One consistent narrator. Use the same voice for every issue so your audio edition always sounds like your publication.
- A voice per speaker. Interviews, Q&A issues and quoted passages can each have their own voice.
- Six languages. Free voices cover English and five other languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian and Hindi.
- A clean MP3. Exports are loudness-normalized, with the bitrate and mono or stereo up to you.
Why you can trust it
- Hear it before you sign up. The generator above reads two sentences of your own post, free, with no account.
- Your posts stay yours. You keep ownership of everything you write and upload.
- Disclosure is straightforward. Podcast directories have rules for AI-generated audio; Apple Podcasts asks creators to disclose AI-generated voices, and Spotify prohibits impersonating real people. Our blog-to-podcast guide covers how to label your audio.
- An honest beta. Sintra Studio is in public beta. We don’t have testimonials yet and won’t invent them. Voice cloning isn’t available yet, so the narrator is a library voice, not your own.
What 10,000 free credits cover
One credit is one character of your post, spaces included. An English word averages about 6.5 characters with its space, so 10,000 credits cover roughly one 1,500-word post (about 9,750 characters). That’s an approximation; your count depends on your writing. Regenerating lines you haven’t changed is free, and credits never expire, so a weekly or monthly newsletter isn’t racing a monthly reset. See all plans.
What happens after you register
- 1. Confirm your email. Your 10,000 credits are added once your email address is verified. Google sign-ups are verified right away.
- 2. Paste your latest post and pick a voice. Generate, listen, and fix any line that needs it.
- 3. Download the MP3 and add it to your post. Or upload it to your podcast host as this week’s episode.
Questions
- Can I turn my newsletter into a podcast automatically?
- Not automatically. Sintra Studio doesn’t connect to your newsletter platform or read your RSS feed. You paste each post, or upload it as a PDF, DOCX or TXT file, generate the audio, review it line by line, and upload the MP3 yourself.
- Will the audio sound like me?
- No. Voice cloning isn’t available yet, so you choose a narrator from the voice library. Using the same voice for every issue gives your audio edition one consistent sound that readers learn to recognize.
- Where do I put the audio file?
- Anywhere that accepts an MP3. Attach it to your post if your newsletter or blog platform supports audio, or upload it to a podcast host to publish it as an episode. Sintra Studio doesn’t publish for you and has no direct platform integrations.
- How long a post do 10,000 free credits cover?
- About one 1,500-word post. One credit is one character, spaces included, and an English word averages roughly 6.5 characters with its space, so 1,500 words come to about 9,750 credits. Regenerating unchanged lines is free, and credits never expire.
- Do I have to tell listeners the voice is AI?
- Tell them anyway. Podcast directories have their own rules for AI-generated audio, and Apple Podcasts asks creators to disclose AI-generated voices. Say it in the episode description and in a line at the start of the audio, and check each platform’s current guidelines.
- Can I use more than one voice in a post?
- Yes. Assign a different voice to each speaker, which works well for Q&A issues, interviews and quoted passages. Each speaker keeps their voice across the whole piece.
