Privacy Policy

Account data. When you sign up, we use Firebase Authentication to manage your account. We store your email address and account identifiers needed to authenticate you.

Content you create. Episode scripts you write or upload, and the audio we generate from them (voice narration and any music you add), are stored so you can access, edit, and republish your episodes.

Usage data. Basic technical data (device/browser information, pages visited, error logs) to keep the product working and to fix bugs.

Turning your script into audio requires sending script text to a text-to-speech provider. We use ElevenLabs (a third-party provider) for licensed voices, and our own self-hosted text-to-speech service for other voice options. Script text sent for synthesis is processed to generate audio and is handled under this policy and, where applicable, the relevant provider's own data processing terms.

If you use voice cloning, you are responsible for having the right to clone the voice you upload (see our Terms of Service). Cloned voice models are stored to let you reuse the voice across your episodes and are deleted if you delete your account.

Generated audio and uploaded assets are stored in S3-compatible object storage. Account and episode metadata is stored in our database. We take reasonable technical measures to protect this data, but no system is perfectly secure.

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (such as light/dark theme). We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.

We don't sell your data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product (authentication, text-to-speech, hosting, object storage) and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service to us.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account and associated content, or ask questions about how your data is used by emailing hello@sintrastudio.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we'll honor applicable requests.

As we move from private beta toward general availability, this policy will be updated to reflect any new data practices. We'll update the "last updated" date above when that happens.
